Today, Lush Cosmetics launched it’s first ever international ethical campaign! All 51 countries of Lush stores are speaking out about animal testing, and are petitioning to ban testing on animals, as well as the sale of new products that have been tested on animals.
No Lush ingredients or products have been tested on animals, and the Lush team has been fighting against animal testing for over 30 years - longer than Lush has even been around!
Information on the campaign can be found at: http://www.fightinganimaltesting.com/
I encourage you to sign the petition, and head to your local stores and talk to them about the campaign (and sign in-person if you haven’t online!). This is an ongoing campaign, and Lush will be continually collecting signatures for a long time to come.
What do you think? Were/are you aware of the awful ways many animals are tested on, and about the lack of adequate legislation to regulate animal testing in most countries? Will you sign the petition?
In case you didn’t see this yesterday! :)
